To the extent that deposits with AIB International Savings Limited are not covered by the Isle of Man Depositors' Compensation Scheme, they are further protected by the Irish State guarantee provided for under the Credit Institutions (Eligible Liabilities Guarantee) Scheme 2009 ('ELG Scheme') of which AIB International Savings Limited is a participating institution. The ELG Scheme has been extended to the 30th June 2012, but is subject to review every six months, the next review date being early June 2012. Further details can be found by clicking here.
